This film is called The Day and it's only by reading the synopsis that I even understand half the background to the film - it's a post-apocalyptic film which follows a group of 5 survivors led by a man who, as far as I can gather, is hoping to find some fertile ground in which to plant some seeds to grow food. Very little is explained within the film, i.e. there's no mention of what happened to everyone or why there are only a few survivors, how they survived, what their backgrounds are et cetera. I really don't know how I feel about this film...it's almost surreal in a way. Has some very gory moments (including a gruesome but short torture scene) so not for the faint hearted, but if you fancy something different then give it a watch.
