This film features Samuel L Jackson as a convict just released from prison after serving life for murder and how he tries to return to the straight and narrow but the past keeps catching up with him. An absolutely fantastic film that is heavy on character development and features some very surprising plot twists. Also has a nice beautiful ending, the kind of which I like, but obviously I won't spoil it here because I'm not that evil. Definitely worth watching if you haven't done so already - does have some gory scenes (which presumably are the reasons for the 18 rating) but nothing excessive.
