I won't pretend that this entire film was amazing, because it wasn't, but it is DEFINITELY worth watching. Why? Because the good parts really are good. It's basically a gothic horror film with a lot of mystery to it - there are some silly parts (especially with some of the violent scenes, somehow they just don't quite enrapture you) but the story gets very interesting the more it goes on. And the ending...the ending makes the film in my opinion. It's very beautiful and the great thing is the ending can't really be spoiled, because it wouldn't make sense unless you'd watched the whole film before it. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of gothic horror like me.
